Today it begins

angryoldhagWe got the keys to the new house. Everything is as close to perfect as we can have it. Sure, money will be tight for a while (when isn't it?) but it's good. We also got couches and a lounge chair thing and a small closet for dad's clothes, all from the nearby thrift store thing.
Aaaaand I had the idea to take measurements of my room so I took along a notepad and a pen and a measuring tape, all excited. I skipped up the stairs (straight stairs! Not bendy ones! Yay!), whipped out my measuring tape and... Lemme just give you a piece of advice: make sure that the measuring tape is long enough for the room. It was three meters long, my room is (at my best guess) 3.60 meters by 3.10 (according to the wise google this adds up to 11.8 feet by 10.2 feet). So that makes my room pretty big. Not to forget that there is a big closet in the wall.
