You're contemplating just how well your bright neon green yarn would hold up in a flower pattern on a navy blue knitted sweater. It looks kind of eye popping, but this is going to be a to-work sweater, not a crazy-around-the-house sweater.
I'm putting the bright neon green yarn under lock and key until further notice. As for the sweater, I just finished the back and will start the front tomorrow. I actually cast it on just a few minutes ago but, after knitting the first row, discovered I was a few stitches short (scrap yarn markers, how could you fail me so?!) and ripped the whole thing out. It's just 110 stitches. Totally doable. And it looks like the gauge isn't that far off. Awesomesauce.
ps: got this book coming in the mail in the next few days.
